DIY Christmas Deco Block Projects

Hello everyone, today I am sharing a few of my Christmas deco block projects. You can pick these deco blocks up at most hardware stores for about $8 and you can use any ribbon of your choice. I usually get mine at Michael’s Craft Store when they have 40% off coupons available. There is a hole drilled in the back and we put a string of clear lights inside. These are soo pretty and easy to change up according to holiday or room decor!
This one is my favourite! I have it on the hutch in my dining room, but unfortunately it’s the only Christmas decoration I have out yet. I’ve been meaning to put my tree up but I’m just not ready to tackle that project yet. I think I may have to wait until exam week is over with first 🙂
These deco blocks take no time to make and there are endless options! Here are a few more of my favourite ideas:
I think these deco blocks make a great Christmas decor project, especially if you are just looking to spruce up a room and you don’t want to spend a lot of time working on a project. I like to switch up my ribbon depending on the holiday and I also like to use them for decor pieces in various rooms throughout the house. For example, I made a glass block with leopard print and chocolate brown ribbon to match my study room. I just love the lighting they give off, especially when I’m studying late at night 🙂
I can’t wait to share more Christmas projects! The term is coming to an end so I am finally starting to see the light! I may actually get to decorate for Christmas after all 🙂
